“Artist´s Work” is a performance that took place at the exhibition “Keine Zeit” of the Museum 21er Haus, Vienna, and that consisted in cleaning the Museum during the opening of the exhibition.
The contemporary post-fordist dynamics make us believe that all destination of time must aim profit.
“The Collection” is an action that consists in using one salary as an assistant in a kinder garden company, to invite artists to create a piece for the price of 50€ to be destined to a collection.
In “Holograms of Deportation” three portraits of deported people are taken from the internet to create three dot matrix holograms. These holograms were placed on the walls of Berlin, being exposed to the interaction of the pedestrians. The portraits belong to three deported people from Germany and only during a certain time of the day, when the daylight hits in the proper angle, the simple mirrors reproduce the images of the deported, showing them as a sort of ghosts brought back to Germany.
In “Essay About the Night” the portrait is done to a projected image of the subject in his/her home, substituting the material subject, pointing to the idea of the photographic subject as a representation. |
